Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif have been acquitted by the tribunal appointed to review their appeals against the drugs ban imposed on them by an earlier committee. The three-man committee, headed by Justice Fakhruddin Ebrahim, voted two to one in favour of the acquittal. Haseeb Ahsan, former Test cricketer, and Ebrahim were in favour of the acquittal while the third member, Danish Zaheer, dissented.

“This appeal committee holds that Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif will not be deemed to have committed a doping offence,” Ibrahim told reporters in Karachi. “The ban and punishment imposed by the earlier tribunal is hereby set aside as being contrary to the provision of laws.”

A 30-page plus judgement released by the committee detailed the reasons for their decision and though they are extensive, one significant theme that emerges from it is problems with the workings of the previous committee. Read More

My support heavier than French strength!

Finally Italy is the World champion for the FIFA 2006 World Cup in Germany last night. Finally Italy got pride & honour. Luck really worked for them and a dream come true. Even French captain Zidane scored a golden goal in 6th minute of the match but italian were determined and they replied so soon in the 19th minute and till end score was 1-1. Extra time couldn’t change the situation but when both teams were ready to shoot penalty shoots i was 100% sure that Italy is going to win this contest & it happened. Italy won by 5-3 on penalty shoots. Congratulation to ITALY & to me!

 you all know why. I was the biggest support for the italian team. I will give whole credit to the Italian team for their play which was awesom. Unforgetable moments, strength, decipline, controled game, unity and many more. Italian deserverd that win and i am sure if Zidane would have been playing till end,Result would be the same.Anyways my best wishes to the World Champion Italian team for their win for 4th time in history of Football.

Hero went Zero! Wasn’t a lucky day.

Luck didn’t continue for France & a dream didn’t come true. Last night France hopes went useless & they lost the World cup 2006 and  also their Superstar Zidane’s international career is finished on a red card and he couldn’t give a gift to  French nation. Earlier he scored a super goal on a penalty shoot but in the ending period of the match he couldn’t control his emotions and he hitted italian player by his head and in the penalty of that behaviour, refery showed him red card. It is not acceptable for any dependable player to do this kind of behaviour at that situation. Anyways it is all over. Worldcup is gone away from their reach. He can just repent on that whatever he has done but cannot bring worldcup home. So after celebrating wimbeldon win, french people couldn’t continue the celebrations. One lucky day brought wimeldon home and the next day brought nothing but a defeat.

Final Match, Who is the Winner?

As every one knows that today is the last day of FiFA World Cup 2006 on Sunday, 9th July.Though my favourite team Germany is already out but they cheered me up yesterday night while winning against Portugal by 3-1. So I forgot the German defeat against italy. I never wanted that Germany & Italy fight befor the final bcoz i love to see both teams playing. Anyways i was talking about today’s match so both teams have very good preparations and both are claiming to win the Cup. If we see the strength of both teams then we can say the match will be so tough and they will do their best and referies will have to be active and players will have to control their emotions. I am in support of Italy & my best wishes are with them but i am afraid a little bcoz in 1992 cricket world cup Pakistani captain Imran Khan was playing his last match and he announced that he will be retired from cricket after winning the World cup & it happened, and the same situation we are having here. French captain Zaidan  is playing his last match and he is claiming to get retired after giving a gift to french nation for 2nd time in the french football history.Will he be able to write his name in Golden words in the history of france. Even yesterday french player Amelie Mauresmo won the Wimbeldon Tennis and it was the 2nd win ever for france in the Wimbeldon.  (Amelie Mauresmo of France celebrates with the trophy after winning the Ladies Singles Final. (Action Images / Jason O’Brien).It means luck is working for france.

So having noticed this win for 2nd time, i am having something confusing in my mind about today’s football match. Let see what i am analysing and what both teams are going to do in the ground. So you guys wait and watch that football Word Cup goes to whom.Who is having a Lucky day and who is having Bad day.

Brazilian & British teams are out of the Tournament!

Last night it was a great upset for Brazil & England teams.Both of them were claiming to reach at the final spot of the tournament but none of them could do that.what is your say that the French & Portugal teams have done agreat upset are they were capable of doing that? Before the start of the match between Brazil and France,every one was in support of Brazil and the supporters were ready to celebrate for the Brazil win but they did not know that a surprise was waiting for them to destroy their dream baloon.Meanwhile the match between England and Portugal was a balanced sides match but the english supporters could not believe that their team was going to disappoint them in a very bad way.So now there are Host Germany along with Italy,Portugal & a threatning team France.Let us see that who is going to win this title of 2006 FIFA World Cup.
